Farosport is an on-line service with which people can find other people to play sports with. Farosport offers a free basic subscription and a paid Premium subscription. Personal data, necessary for the correct functioning of the Service, is not sold off to third parties. If you register on Farosport, our general conditions apply. Read them through attentively so you are familiar with your rights and obligations.

1. Who is Farosport?

Farosport is a part of Richer Solution, also acting under the name of Farosport, with offices in 24 avenue du Général de Gaulle 93110 ROSNY SOUS BOIS (France), and listed in the Trade Register of the Chamber of Commerce under VAT number: FR40539528042.

2. What information is collected and processed by Farosport?


To be able to contact other users, you must create a personal Profile. Farosport does not ask any superfluous information for marketing purposes. Only and exclusively data which is required for the correct functioning of the Service. In case you create such a Profile, you are asked to fill out certain information about yourself. You are not obliged to provide all information. The following information is obligatory for all users:

Valid e-mail address and password
Profile picture
Cover name

You can modify the information you provide at all times.
In principle, your Profile is public and therefore available for perusal by everyone. You can also choose the settings on your Profile in such a manner that it is only visible for Users who have a Profile themselves. You can change this setting at any moment you want.


Farosport stores all Content you provide through Farosport and processes it. In case you publish the Content publicly, for example your Profile, also other Users can use and respond to the Content.
When you terminate your profile, Farosport will render inaccessible your Profile immediately. Farosport remains authorised, however, to use all Content in accordance with the User Conditions. Upon your first request, Farosport will anonymise or remove the Content.

Automatically generated information

To be able to let Farosport function optimally (for instance to be able to display pages correctly and to secure the Service) Farosport needs certain information. For this reason, Farosport collects automatically generated information on your surfing behaviour during your use of Farosport. This information consists of your IP-address (number of your computer which makes it possible to recognise your computer), the type of browser (computer program to be able to view internet pages), the computer system which you use, an account number and the pages you visit on the Website.
To the extent Farosport uses this information, it always is anonymised.

3. What are cookies and how does Farosport use them?

What are cookies?

For the collection of data, Farosport makes use of cookies. Cookies are tiny text-files which are stored on the hard disk of your computer. How can I deactivate cookies?

4. For what purposes will Farosport use information about you?


Farosport will use information about you for the following purposes:

To enable your use of the Service;

To prepare anonymised statistical data;

Use by third parties

Without your explicit permission, Farosport will not provide your personal data to third parties for direct marketing purposes (for example for the forwarding of offers).
Farosport can provide your data to third parties to the extent you have expressly indicated regarding a certain third party that you grant permission for it and/or to the extent this information cannot be traced back to you personally (such as automatically generated information, not being your IP-address). 5. In what manner does Farosport protect your personal information?

Farosport will take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your (personal) data against loss or against any form of illegitimate processing. Farosport takes care, amongst other things, of all personal data being stored securely.

You can always peruse your own (personal) data and correct it, if necessary, in your Profile. If you want to know what data Farosport has stored on you or if you wish to change information which you cannot modify in your Profile, you can contact us via the customer care webform online.

7. Transmission to countries outside the EU

For technical and operational reasons, it may be necessary that your (personal) data is transmitted to (servers of) companies associated with Farosport and/or service providers in the United States or other countries outside Europe. 8. May minors make use of Farosport?

If you are not sixteen (16) years old yet, then you must have the permission of your parents or custodian before you create a Profile. By accepting this Privacy Statement, you guarantee that you are sixteen (16) years or older or that you have permission from your parents/guardian to create a Profile.

9. Can this Privacy Statement be modified?

This Privacy Statement can be modified. These modifications are announced on the Website and/or through communications to you.
